Jennene Tierney

Jennene Tierney (she/her/hers) wears several hats at the Dodge Foundation, overseeing its human resources, culture building and organizational development, grantee capacity-building and external communications functions. Across these broad areas, she collaborates closely with all members of the “Dodge Squad” to foster a culture that centers equity and learning in “all that we are and all that we do.”

Jennene’s work at the Dodge Foundation draws upon her more than 25 years of experience leading talent and organizational effectiveness functions and initiatives in mission-driven organizations. Prior to Dodge, her recent experiences included consulting and leadership roles with Koya Partners/Diversified Search, Arcus Foundation, UNICEF USA, International Rescue Committee and Care USA. Jennene has an MBA degree in Organizational Management from St. John’s University and a bachelor’s degree in Business from Temple University.

Jennene would describe her most important job as being a loving mom to two active and amazing kids. She lives in Montclair, NJ and loves spending time seeing community theater, traveling, and being outdoors in nature. Her newest hobby (learned during Covid) is skiing with her family.
