NAACP of New Jersey

The NAACP is the nation's oldest, largest and most widely recognized grassroots–based civil rights organization, founded in 1909. Its more than half-million members and supporters throughout the United States and the world are the premier advocates for civil rights in their communities, conducting voter mobilization and monitoring equal opportunity in the public and private sectors. NAACP of New Jersey is comprised of numerous units throughout the state with dedicated volunteers with a passion for working towards progress. NAACP of New Jersey has made great strides in recent years, positively impacting many lives fighting alongside community partners influencing landmark legislation.
