Morristown Neighborhood House
Morristown Neighborhood House (MNH) was founded in 1898 as a settlement house that helped immigrants become acclimated to a new culture. Cornerstone Family Program's (CFP) history dates back to 1813 when it was founded to help the poor of Morristown, including those impacted by the war of 1812, with basic necessities such as food, clothing and fuel. Now that they have joined forces with 315 years of history, both continue to build lives and stronger communities by helping individuals, families, and new immigrants who are confronting economic and other life challenges. Today, Morristown Neighborhood House is strengthening communities by helping people build better lives. MNH is improving the health, social development, and school performance of young children. The organization supports adults to improve their health, education, employment, recreation, parenting, and communications skills, and keeps seniors independent and in their homes.
