Bayshore Center at Bivalve

The Bayshore Center at Bivalve (BCB) was founded in 1988 with the goal of restoring the 1928 oyster schooner A.J. MEERWALD to become a hands on classroom and symbolic rallying point for Delaware Bay. BCB's mission is to inspire people to take care of the environment, the culture and the history of New Jersey's Bayshore Region through education, preservation and example. BCB's community programming engages regional citizenry in planning, conservation activities and experience-based education especially in issues of climate change, resiliency and sustainability.
