Borealis Philanthropy

Borealis is a social justice philanthropic intermediary working to resource grassroots movements for transformative change. Founded in 2015, Borealis connects funders and organizers to support movements working to make a better serving future. From Black-led movement-building, to queer and trans liberation, to disability justice and inclusion, Borealis is comprised of nine collaborative funds working to enhance collective impact within and between movements across the country. Borealis Philanthropy intends to support people most impacted by oppressive systems through a focus on responsiveness, racial equity, trust, and boldness.
