Open Space Institute, Inc.
Open Space Institute (OSI) protects scenic, natural and historic landscapes to provide public enjoyment, conserve habitat and sustain communities through acquisition, financing, stewardship, research and advocacy. OSI has been a partner in the protection of over 2.2 million acres in North America. All of OSI's work is directed by a consistent conservation strategy that emphasizes permanent protection on a landscape-level scale. OSI also helps craft and advocate for the funding mechanisms that make land protection possible, from local to federal efforts. These activities not only advance OSI's initiatives but also help to shape national, regional, and statewide efforts.
