Monmouth Conservation Foundation
Founded in 1977 by the late Michael Huber and Judith Stanley Coleman, Monmouth Conservation Foundation (MCF) has collaboratively preserved more than 22,500 acres of open space and farmland throughout Monmouth County. Projects include new suburban and urban parks, significant park additions, farmland preservation, habitat protection, and public access to waterways. Although acquisition is MCF's primary focus, the organization is also expanding advocacy, outreach, and program roles in response to a changing conservation environment. MCF received accreditation by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission in 2014.
